Bonnie: But we come in this one.
Transcript from the film.
Inspiration: Bonnie is always wearing midi skirts(1967) and Benet hat.
Fabric: Brazilian wool, left over of my jacket (to be reveal soon- still unfinished due to lack of right finishing touches)
Patterns: Butterick 4686- D
Styled with: Hat-Stolen from mom’s closet in 2006, H&H scarf, Timberland boots, Dorothy Perkins blouse, and old jacket belt.
Notions Black zipper. I couldn’t find the right colour and had so little time to sew this but will re do it with a different zipper as soon as I can.
Time to complete:4 hours . Skirts are very easy for my body shape because of not many modifications.
First worn: October 2011
Wear again? Yes, Perfect for this weather.
What I would do different? This fabric is very fluid so I would line it to give a bit more structure. I like this pattern because there is not many modifications needed. Lesson learned: Lightweight wool can stretch from heat. Beware!
Modifications: 3 cm longer than original to achieve the theme look. Never ever wore this length and its quite fashionable now.
